Call Transfer Guide
The system provides multiple ways to transfer calls, including Blind Transfer, Attended Transfer, Branch Transfer, and Voicemail Transfer. If the system cannot locate the specified extension, branch, or voicemail, the call will be returned to you.
Blind Transfer
- Press # to initiate the transfer.
- Wait for the system to prompt you to enter the extension number.
- The call will be transferred automatically.
Attended Transfer
- Press *2 and wait for the system to prompt you.
- Enter the extension number you wish to transfer the call to.
- Once connected, you can speak with the recipient to confirm the transfer.
- When you hang up, the system will complete the transfer.
- To cancel the transfer after being connected, press *1. You will return to the original caller.
Branch Transfer
- Press *2, then dial *7 to access branch transfers.
- Enter the branch number.
- The system will confirm the branch title before disconnecting you, allowing the caller to remain on the line.
- If you are returned to the caller, the system could not locate the branch.
Voicemail Transfer
- Press *2, then *8.
- Enter the extension number.
- If a VM box exists for the extension, the call will be transferred to voicemail.
Important Notes
- If Call Forwarding is enabled on an extension, calls will only be forwarded to the assigned forwarding number and not to the extension itself.
