Extension

To edit an extension, click the pencil icon on the right and update the following fields:

• "Extension Number" Field: Replace the displayed extension number.
• "Extension Title" Field: Add a title for easy identification.
• "Forward Number" Field: Enter the forwarding phone number.
• "Enable Forward Number" Toggle Button: Toggle this option on to ring both the extension and forwarding number simultaneously, or keep it off for separate extension use in the Connect branch.
• "VM Group" Drop-down: Use this drop-down to select the voicemail associated with the extension. If no voicemail is chosen, calls will go to the general voicemail. Consider categorizing voiemails based on the inquiry type (e.g., Sales, Customer Services, etc.) by routing them to the appropriate mailbox using multiple Connect-Direct IVR branches.
• "DID" Drop-down: Choose the phone number displayed for calls made from this extension.
• 🆕Delete an Extension: You can delete an extension by clicking the trashcan icon to the right.
